Bradley Barcola has stated his intention to win the English Premier League following the completion of his transfer to Liverpool on Monday.
The French winger sealed a blockbuster £123 million move to the Reds from French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, ending a protracted transfer saga.
Liverpool will pay an initial £106m plus £17m in potential add-ons, and Barcola has signed a five years deal with the Reds.
He is the club’s fifth signing this summer as the aim to recapture the form that produced an EPL title two seasons ago.
The 23-year-old Barcola has made a bold claim on his first day at the club.
The two-time UEFA champions league winner with PSG stated his intention to bring the winning culture that would culminate in the EPL title returning to Anfield.
“It took a long time but I’m really happy today to be able to play for Liverpool and all I want is to be on the pitch and be able to play. I hope to achieve very big things. First of all, winning the Premier League – it’s one of my biggest dreams in my life.
“It is to do that and to stay in this team in the long term – that’s why I signed a long contract – and I hope I can do it.”
Barcola joined PSG from Olympic Lyon in 2023 and was a key member of PSG all-conquering side, posting 20 goal contributions in 49 matches last season.
He also featured in all matches and scored three goals for the French national team in their 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign.
